Quick answer
A stock certificate in Pune is a Chartered Accountant's signed confirmation of a business's stock and receivables on a stated date. Pune auto-component suppliers and engineering units use it for bank CC/OD drawing power, loan renewals and GST ITC-01 claims above ₹2 lakh. It carries a UDIN that banks verify online.

Stock certificates for Pune's automotive supply chain
Pune's industrial belt (Chakan, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Bhosari and Ranjangaon) is one of India's largest automotive clusters, with vehicle makers surrounded by tiers of component suppliers. Many suppliers run close to just-in-time schedules, so finished goods are low but raw material, bought-out parts and WIP are high. Some also keep consignment stock at the vehicle maker's plant or a third-party warehouse, which stays theirs until it is used. We show these separately, so the bank sees stock at your plant, at vendors and at the customer.
Tooling is another Pune-specific question. Dies and moulds made for a customer are often paid for by that customer, and are not your inventory at all. We check the tooling agreements and keep customer-owned tooling out of stock. Debtors from large vehicle makers are usually safe but can carry long credit periods; we show them with ageing against your bank's cut-off, so you know how much of your receivables will count towards drawing power.
Common Pune Situations
Consignment stock at the OEM's plant
Shown as a separate location, backed by the customer's stock confirmation.
Customer-owned dies and moulds
Excluded from stock after checking the tooling agreements.
Large OEM debtors past 90 days
Ageing is shown against the bank's cut-off, so eligible receivables are clear.

Where each requirement comes from, so you can check it yourself.
| Rule | What it says | Source |

| Limit review | An account whose limit is not reviewed or renewed within 180 days of the due date can be treated as an NPA. | RBI prudential norms (IRACP) |
| ITC-01 certification | ITC-01 details must be certified by a practising CA or cost accountant if the total claim exceeds ₹2 lakh. | Rule 40(1)(d), CGST Rules, 2017 |
| ITC-01 time limit and invoice age | File within 30 days of becoming eligible; no credit on invoices more than one year old. | Rule 40(1)(b) CGST Rules; Section 18(2) CGST Act |
| UDIN on certificates | UDIN is mandatory on all certificates issued by Chartered Accountants from 1 February 2019. | ICAI; udin.icai.org |
