Quick answer
A stock certificate in Ahmedabad is a Chartered Accountant's signed confirmation of a business's stock and receivables on a stated date. Ahmedabad textile, chemical and pharma units use it for bank CC/OD drawing power, limit renewals and GST ITC-01 claims above ₹2 lakh, with a UDIN the bank can verify.

Stock certificates for Ahmedabad's textile, chemical and pharma units
Ahmedabad's old name, the Manchester of the East, came from its textile mills, and textiles are still a large part of the city's trade, from yarn and grey fabric to processed and printed cloth. A lot of this stock is not at the owner's premises. Grey fabric is sent to processing houses for dyeing and printing, and it sits there as job-work stock. We show goods at job workers separately, cross-checked with your ITC-04 job-work records where you file them, so the bank knows exactly what it is financing.
The GIDC estates at Vatva, Naroda and Odhav hold many chemical, dye-intermediate and engineering units. Chemical stock needs care: some raw materials have a limited shelf life, and finished goods can be worth less than cost when input prices swing. For pharma units around the city, batch expiry decides eligibility. We value stock at the lower of cost and net realisable value, as AS 2 and Ind AS 2 require, and list slow-moving batches separately.
Common Ahmedabad Situations
Fabric lying at a processing house
Job-work stock is certified separately with the processor's name, so it's neither counted twice nor missed.
Dye-intermediate prices fell
Where selling prices drop below cost, we value at net realisable value, so a stock auditor doesn't cut your drawing power later.
Renewal for a GIDC unit
Stock and debtor ageing as on 31 March, matched with your audited balance sheet and CMA data.

| Limit review | An account whose limit is not reviewed or renewed within 180 days of the due date can be treated as an NPA. | RBI prudential norms (IRACP) |
| ITC-01 certification | ITC-01 details must be certified by a practising CA or cost accountant if the total claim exceeds ₹2 lakh. | Rule 40(1)(d), CGST Rules, 2017 |
| ITC-01 time limit and invoice age | File within 30 days of becoming eligible; no credit on invoices more than one year old. | Rule 40(1)(b) CGST Rules; Section 18(2) CGST Act |
