Four figures decide a restaurant's fate: food-cost percentage, staff-cost percentage, rent as a share of sales and average revenue per cover. If food cost rises two points, a Rs. 10 lakh month loses Rs. 20,000 before anyone notices.
We compute these monthly from purchases, stock counts and POS data, and compare each outlet. When food cost is out of line, the report points to the likely cause: price rise, wastage or a mismatch between recipes and billing.
Delivery aggregators collect from customers, deduct commission and fees, and pay you net. The tax treatment of supplies through aggregators has specific rules, so the GST return must follow the platform's reports rather than the POS alone.
Service charge and tips have their own accounting and tax treatment, and staff expect transparent distribution. We keep these in separate ledgers so GST, payroll and customer disclosures agree.
| Ratio | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Food cost percentage | Purchases adjusted for stock, as a share of food sales |
| Staff cost percentage | Wages and benefits as a share of sales |
| Rent to sales | Occupancy cost |
| Average bill value | Revenue per customer |
| Aggregator share of sales | Dependency on delivery platforms |

Yes. Each outlet is a cost centre with its own sales, purchases, staff and rent, plus a consolidated view. The monthly report ranks outlets by profit and food cost, so you can see which location needs attention. Shared costs are allocated using an agreed, written method.
Yes. Supplies made through an e-commerce operator follow specific rules on who collects and pays tax in certain categories, and the operator reports them. We reconcile your return with the platform's statements to avoid mismatches that lead to notices. Please share the platform statements every month.
