Pune combines software parks at Hinjewadi and Kharadi with an automobile and engineering base in Pimpri-Chinchwad and Chakan, which gives the city an unusual mix of exporters of services and makers of components.
IT services firms invoice overseas clients, so their accounts need export-of-services invoicing under the LUT, foreign-currency receipts matched to bank realisation certificates, and GST refunds where eligible. Mistakes at this stage delay refunds by months.
Auto-component suppliers work to purchase orders from large OEMs, with tight payment cycles and annual rate revisions. Their books need job-work challans, scrap accounting and monthly stock reconciliation. Pune's large student population also supports coaching and hostel businesses with seasonal fee cash flows.
For Pune IT exporters, the first month includes a check of the LUT filing, a match of every foreign remittance to its invoice, and a review of GST export reporting. For Chakan suppliers it includes a stock-count reconciliation and a review of job-work challans that have been pending for more than a few months.

in View LinkedIn profileYes. We prepare export invoices under an LUT, record each foreign receipt against its invoice, track the realisation date and book exchange gains or losses. This keeps GST export reporting consistent with the books and supports any refund claim your firm is eligible for.
Yes. Material sent out on a job-work challan stays in your stock until returned, and scrap is valued and booked on sale. We reconcile stock monthly, so the ledger agrees with the physical count and the GST challan trail. Scrap sales carry the correct GST treatment.
Yes. Fee collections are booked batch-wise, refunds and scholarships are tracked, and the monthly MIS separates fee income from deposits. If the institute is a trust or society, fund accounting rules apply and we follow the format described on our NGO accounting page.
