Chennai is often called the Detroit of India because of its automobile and component cluster around Sriperumbudur, Oragadam and Ambattur, which supports hundreds of tier-two and tier-three suppliers.
Tamil Nadu GSTINs begin with 33. Component suppliers face tight delivery schedules, rejection debit notes and annual price revisions from OEMs, so their accounts need clean sales-return handling and item-wise margin tracking. We reconcile rejections against invoices every month.
The city's port makes it a base for exporters of leather goods, garments, engineering goods and seafood. Exporters have to track shipping bills, drawback and duty-credit receipts and foreign-currency realisation. We set a separate ledger group for each, so refunds and incentives are claimed on time.
Chennai suppliers start with a rejection and debit-note reconciliation against OEM statements, then an item-wise margin sheet. Exporters start with a shipping-bill schedule showing realisation due dates, drawback claims pending and exchange differences, so the first month ends with a clear list of money still to be collected.

Rejections are booked as sales returns against the original invoice, and the OEM's debit note is matched to it. The monthly report shows rejection value by part and customer, which helps you negotiate or fix quality issues before margins erode.
Yes. We maintain purchases, stock, job-work and sales, file the GST returns and deliver a simple monthly profit and cash report. Most industrial-estate owners prefer a short report with debtors, creditors and cash, and that is the format we use.
