Coimbatore is known as the Manchester of South India for its spinning mills and is also one of the country's largest centres for pumps, motors and foundry castings, supported by thousands of small workshops.
Spinning and textile units carry heavy stock of cotton, yarn and fabric with volatile prices, so closing stock valuation changes profit sharply. We value stock item-wise at cost or net realisable value and reconcile it to the physical count before each quarter-end.
Pump, motor and foundry units rely on small job-work units for machining and casting, so job-work challans, material issued and returned, and wastage have to be tracked carefully. Many are family-run, and clean partner and director accounts matter when bank limits or succession arrangements come up.
Coimbatore mills and workshops start with a physical stock count reconciled to the ledger, followed by a job-work challan review. Family-run units also receive a partner or director account schedule in the first month, which usually resolves long-standing differences before the bank's next renewal or a change of partners.

Yes. We reconcile each partner's or director's capital, drawings, loans and interest, write the balances in a clear schedule and resolve unexplained entries. Clean balances help in bank renewals, partner changes and succession planning, and they reduce friction among family members.
